Jade Bangle Sizing

Finding the right jade bangle size is essential for both comfort and wearability. There are multiple different options to measure your size. Using multiple methods can help you cross reference. Unlike bracelets, bangles must pass over your hand, so sizing is based on your hand measurements—not your wrist.

Method 1: Measure Hand Circumference

Step 1: Position Your Hand
Place your hand in a relaxed, open position with your palm facing up. Gently bring your thumb toward your little finger—similar to a “4” hand shape.

Step 2: Wrap the Measuring Tape
Wrap the tape around the widest part of your hand, just below the thumb knuckle. Keep the tape straight and snug, but not tight against the skin.

Step 3: Record Your Measurement
Note the measurement where the tape meets. If using string, mark the overlap point and measure it flat with a ruler.

Step 4: Find Your Size
Use your measurement to determine your bangle diameter using the size chart.

Method 2: Measure Palm Width

Place your hand flat with palm facing up
Measure across the widest part of your palm (just below the knuckles)
Use this formula as a guide:

Palm width (mm) – 10 ≈ bangle diameter (mm)

Method 3: Use an Existing Bangle

If you already own a bangle that fits well:

Place it on a flat surface
Measure the inner diameter straight across
Use that measurement as your size

Create a Test Bangle

Draw a circle using your calculated diameter
Cut it out from thick paper or cardboard
Try sliding your hand through the circle

This helps confirm whether your chosen size will comfortably pass over your hand.

Overall tips

Add +1–3 mm if you prefer a looser fit
Choose your exact size for a more snug fit
If you have arthritis, it is suggested to size up to a larger size
Your dominant hand may be slightly larger than your non-dominant hand
